President Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) created the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund (GGRF), a $27 billion investment to facilitate advancement in climate technologies.

Under the $6 billion Clean Communities Investment Accelerator (CCIA) initiative, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ran a competitive procurement and selected five applicants to establish hubs. These hubs provide funding and technical assistance to community lenders working in low-income and disadvantaged communities, providing an immediate pathway to deploy projects in those communities while also building capacity of these lenders to finance projects for years to come.
