Matt Rodgers, an assurance principal in Baker Tilly’s Tysons, Virginia office, is a member of the firm’s commercial practice. In his role, Matt leads financial statement attest and financial advisory engagements for both privately held and publicly traded clients primarily in the technology, government contracting, manufacturing and private equity industries.
- Extensive experience assisting client executives, boards of directors and their external advisors with understanding and reporting for complex transactions
- Assists companies with a variety of advisory services including accounting for mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, preparing for capital raising activities including initial public offerings, audit readiness services, financial statement restatements, among others
- Attest engagement partner and quality control partner for growth-oriented companies with strategic objective of providing owner liquidity through recapitalization or sale
